⭐ Warner Bros is opening another studio, The Ranch, and now has 50 studios under their name.
Warner (the Studio not me) is steering its own shows to film in-house so it stops paying other studios for space. In terms of city-wide occupancy? 😵💫😵💫😵💫
⭐ Live Nation’s antitrust trial continues after 30+ states refused to accept the Department of Justice’s settlement.
Even Kid Rock was against the ruling!! Big credit to Live Nation for finally uniting the country.

⭐ Theo Von and David Spade shot indie comedy “Busboys” during the 2025 Palisades Fire and are planning a self-run theatrical release on April 17 through Cinemark and Regal.
Night Media, the agency originally behind MrBeast, executive produced and are betting creators themselves can fill seats, with Von’s podcast alone pulling about 20 million monthly YouTube views.
We just saw the guys from the “internet-born film studio” Creator Camp land their own movie in theaters. Hollywood might want a notebook…or a deal memo?

The growth came in at 9.3% year over year.

⭐ The recorded music industry in the US generated $11.5 billion (+3.1% YoY)
Paid streaming subscriptions reached 106.5 million aka ~31.5% of the country pays for some type of music streaming service.
