1) Eminem and the Detroit Lions announce Thanksgiving programming partnership

Eminem and his manager Paul Rosenberg penned a deal with the Lions until 2027 that will have them both executive produce the Thanksgiving Halftime Show. Similar deal (albeit much smaller) than Jay-Z and Roc Nation programming the Super Bowl Halftime Show.

Also announced this AM: the 2026 Thanksgiving shows will feature Jack White, Post Malone and Lil Jon.

2) SAG-AFTRA changed their award show name from ‘The SAG Awards’ to the ‘Actor Awards.’

Seemingly everyone was told that this is the year of the rebrand™️, and the Screen Actors Guild’s reasoning behind the change is because the statue has always been called ‘The Actor.’ .

3) Disney and YouTube TV have reached a deal after a 15 day blackout

“The 15 day blackout” could have been the name for the Charlie Sheen two-part docuseries. Great watch on Netflix.

4) Apple TV will now include all Major League Soccer matches with no extra costs starting next year.

The MLS has been seeing increased interest due to high-level talent crossing the pond both on and off the field, and watching games will be even more accessible worldwide. Should see an uptick in fan interest and eyeballs on the game.

5) The rights for a ‘Labubu’ movie were just purchased by Sony
