ROSTR released their 5th annual list of “Who Booked Coachella,” which is fun for people who like to argue with data. 2 major highlights below:

According to ROSTR “Back in 2022 the male vs female & non-binary ratio at Coachella got as close as 60/40. Since then it’s been retreating rapidly; this year it’s 70/30. Wicked earns a huge $19 million from week-long previews, and Gladiator ll hit $6.5 million on Thursday alone. Both movies kick off what is expected to be the biggest Thanksgiving in history (move over Barbenheimer, Wickedator is here) at the domestic box office, with Moana 2 releasing on Wednesday. Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga’s single “Die With A Smile” is now the quickest song ever to reach Spotify’s Billions Club taking only 96 days per Chartmetric:

Megan Moroney won the CMA’s New Artist of the Year award, but wasn’t even nominated for the Grammy’s Best New Artist category. In a time where Country is dominating, it’s a bit puzzling. Mac Miller and Juice WRLD both had posthumous albums announced this past week. Miller’s project ‘Balloonerism’ is set to be released on the anniversary of ‘Circles,’ and this is supposedly Juice WRLD’s final posthumous album.
