1) Here’s 5 things about the Coachella lineup announce you need to know:

1. Karol G is the first Latina Artist to headline

2. Bieber is making $5M per weekend ($10M total)

3. There were only 6 rap acts on the whole lineup. It’s trending down:

   1. 2022: 19

   2. 2023: 17

   3. 2024: 9

   4. 2025: 10

4. The lineup was released earlier than ever to combat softening demand the past few years. I predict this will be a trend across all of festivals. More runway is a good thing.

   1. 2022: January 12, 2022

   2. 2023: January 10, 2023

   3. 2024: January 16, 2024

   4. 2025: November 20, 2024

   5. 2026: September 15, 2025

5.  Deep dive into which Management Companies, Agencies and Labels won Coachella (shoutout ROSTR).

2) The Emmys reached 7.4 million viewers this year, making it the most watched ceremony since 2021. Things you need to know:

1. HBO Max & Netflix were the big winners for networks/streamers with 30 each.

2. The Studio’ helped deliver Apple TV+ their most successful night so far, bringing in 13 of their 22 awards.

3. Tramell Tillman became the first black actor to win an Emmy in the Best Supporting Actor For a Drama category with his work in ‘Severance.’

4. ‘Adolescence’ star Owen Cooper also made history as the youngest ever male winner in any acting category at the age of 15. Holy shit I feel old.

5. ‘The Bear’ had 13 nominations but was shut out from every single one. Far cry from last year when they broke the record for the most wins with 11.

3) Paramount names Scale AI CFO Dennis K. Cinelli to Board of Directors. Why it matters:

1. AI is no longer a side hustle topic as it’s shaping studio strategy at the board level.

2. Tech bros people, are infiltrating Hollywood power circles. It’s more important than ever to learn how AI is intersecting with content. We will bring on guests in the coming weeks to help educate you.

3. Career lanes are shifting. There are more opportunities than ever to “break into Entertainment.” (See below)
