On that topic… Ariana Grande is staying in business with Hybe via their somewhat similar sounding Weverse app (focused on artist merch + livestream), and REM Beauty.
It’s been confirmed she will indeed no longer be managed by Braun, and instead exclusively by Brandon Creed at Good World Management.
$12.99 for Espresso?
This is taking nothing away from Sabrina Carpenter, a very talented artist with potentially the song of the summer in Espresso, but this article discusses the current barrier to entry to make music, and how one of the song’s most recognizable loops ended up being a $12.99 sample from Splice.
Fly Eagles, Fly (sorry, I’m a Philadelphia Eagles fan)
The Eagles have been announced as the next band to takeover the Sphere in Vegas, with an 8-show residency in the fall.
With the selections of U2, Phish, Dead & Co. and now the Eagles, MSG Entertainment certainly has a target demo.
Since no one asked, here is my wishlist: LCD Soundsystem, Depeche Mode, Rufus du Sol, Nine Inch Nails, Tool, hometown reunion for the Killers and Tame Impala.

Shari Redstone, who controls Paramount via her family’s holding company National Amusements (NAI), has shut down merger talks with Skydance Media. Read more
It’s looking more and more likely that Redstone will look to sell NAI vs. attempting to merge with another company.
